The process for starting a portrait commission is quite easy. If I’ll be working from a photograph I come to your location and photograph in natural light. It takes about twenty to thirty minutes while I shoot a vast number of pictures. We then look at all the pictures together and begin a process of elimination until we find the one photo that I’ll work from. The entire process usually takes about an hour. Then I return to my studio and do the work.
If you choose to sit for your portrait we will make arrangements for you to come to my studio. This requires anywhere from about four to ten sittings of three hours each.
Please inquire about rates. All travel expenses are included. A fifty percent deposit is required to start the process.
